This color photograph of a small section of the Nantahala River in the mountains of Western North Carolina shows several colorful fall leaves on the mossy rocks in the river. White water rushes all around the rocks. Along the top right of the photograph a darker section of water is visible. this deeper than other spots in this section of the river shows the green, yellow, orange and golden colors of the trees overhead reflecting in the water. The unusual crop of this photograph will make this photo stand out, especially at around 40 inches wide, where top to bottom will still only be around a foot high.
