Description
Downtown Asheville, North Carolina
There a lot to see in this photo. In the foreground, one of the best looking police cars I've ever seen. Well, the word "Police" is awesome with it's buildings and mountains of Asheville. On the left is the restored Woolworth building, which is now an antique store. In front of the Woolworth building is a red truck speeding toward the 4 Way Stop sign. On the right side, close to center is the Urban Outfitters store and the College Street sign.
I'm not really sure why the police car in the foreground with Urban Outfitters in the background caught my eye, but for some reason I really liked it. Now, to top it all of, look in the bottom right side of the photo at the police car number. Car 54 where are you? Downtown Asheville, that's where. You have to be around my age (53) to understand the car 54 comment. NBC had a sitcom named "Car 54 Where Are You? which ran from 1961 - 1963. Car 54 Where Are You was filmed only in Black and White. In honor of the black and white TV series, this photo is presented in black and white.
