Description
This black and white photograph which was taken at night, shows Fidler's Gallery And Custom Framing and The Cotton Exchange in Wilmington, North Carolina. The double doors of Fidler's Gallery and Wrigley's Clocks & Repair are on the left half of the photograph, as is a window, a wooden barrel and a drain pipe, while the right half of the photo shows the iron gate to The Cotton Exchange. Five windows are located along the top of the photograph.
A couple of notable items to mention. This photograph required a very long exposure. Because of the time needed and the wind that was blowing the night this photo was taken, the flag on the left side of Fidler's Gallery's double doors is blured from movement. The second item is less noticable, but somewhat shocking when seen. If you purchase a large enough print of this photograph you will see that on the right side of the double doors, inside the building is what appears to be a man with a bow tie holding something. Becuse the man is not blured, he either stood extremely still during the exposure or he is a poster or mannequin.....or maybe this should be a stop in a Wilmington Ghost Tour.
A color version of Fidlers Gallery and The Cotton Exchange is also available.
