Artist's Description
The early morning fog is just beginning to burn off allowing the sun to break through. This black and white photograph was taken along Folk School Road in Cherokee County's Brasstown, North Carolina. Along the right side of the road is are a few of the John C. Campbell Folk School's many buildings. Red barn is followed by Towerhouse, then Cantrell Blacksmith Shop. At the end of the road is Big Barn and the Francis Whitaker Backsmith Shop.
Brasstown is located in the mountains of Western North Carolina, near the town of Murphy.
