Description

Color photograph taken on St. Philip Street just after sunrise. Lafitte's Guest House Hotel is visible, the morning sun shinning brightly on the historic building, while heavy shadow still covers much of St. Philip Street. Early morning and late evening light and shadows in the French Quarter are wonderful to behold as the sun shines on some buildings while others fall into shadow.
A dramatic black and white version of French Quarter Shadows is also available.
