Description
Light on Wall was photographed in the French Quarter of New Orleans in late evening. The sun was still up, but it was getting dark enough for the street lamps to come on. Because the old buildings of the French Quarter are so much smaller than the taller buildings of modern New Orleans, early morning and late evening can create some very interesting light and shadow patterns in the French Quarter. In this photograph an interesting light pattern is visible on the wall near the wall sconce. A doorway is visible on the left while a window is visible on the right side. The door and window makes one wonder what is inside; is it a home? An appartment? A Restaurant? Hotel?...
