Description
This is a small section of Bald River Falls.
Located within the Cherokee National Forest, the 100' Bald River Falls is an extremely accessible waterfall, in fact Bald River Falls may be viewed from your car. The photo above was taken from the bridge which crosses over Bald River. Parking is available just past the bridge when traveling from Tellico Plains Tennessee. In addition to viewing Bald River Falls from the bridge, you may also climb down on the left or right side of the falls for a close-up view. A small trail is located along the left side of the falls which travels to the top of the falls.

Greg and Chrystal, Fantastic scenic and action capture, love the rushing water crashing over the falls that you have captured here as the fast moving white water comes over the falls and down into the river. Great still capture, fantastic clear shot and the clarity in this photo is remarkable. Love the light from the sun hitting down on the water as it hits the river and the rocks. Excellent photo, voted, google, tweet and FB promoted

Is this anywhere near the smoky mountain national park? It is very remniscent of several falls in that area.
Greg and Chrystal Mimbs replied:
This is a very small section of Bald River Falls, just outside Tellico Plains, Tennessee. It's about 1.5 hours from Gatlinburg, TN....the Park is probably an hour's drive from here. Cherohala Skyway is only 2 or 3 miles away.
