The mid-day sun rises over the old Union County Courthouse in Blairsville, Georgia. The clock shows 11:30 on this almost cloudless winter day. This beautiful old courthouse now houses the Union County Historical Society. Union County is located along the North Carolina state line in the North Georgia Mountains.
