G&C, Wonderful horse drawn regiment to the Arlington Cemetery. Unfortunately the current WIDE Memorial show is not accepting B&W. You can however crop into a new wide image 30x10 & submit to the WFPPP Group! GJ

This black and white photograph shows the United States Army Caisson Platoon of the 3rd United States Infantry Regiment "The Old Guard" transporting a flag-draped casket through Arlington National Cemetery. All 6 horses of the team aresaddled with the horses on the left having riders, while the ones on the right do not.
The Old Guard Caisson was photographed on film by Greg Mimbs.
