The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel stands prominent in the photograph with several other businesses visible including: Dick's Last Resort, Bootleggers Homemade Wine, part of the Old Smoky Tennessee Moonshine and the Lumberjack Fued kiosk.
This photograph was taken in early morning, before The Wheel was open to the public. The Wheel is turning as you can tell from the slow shutter speed used in this photograph. An interesting, but easy to overlook feature of this photograph is the two workers on the ferris wheel. Look at the center of the Wheel then down to the left. These two workers help show just how large The Wheel is at The Island in Pigeon Forge.
