This color photograph shows 617 Chartres St, which is home to The Jamie Hayes Gallery in the French Quarter of New Orleans shows the window filled front of the gallery which offers a view in from the street, while the more traditional style balcony with shutters beside the windows/doors. A street lamp stands where the next building begins. The early morning light created some deep shadows along with bright sections which makes this black and white an a glowing look. The bright reds of the far building, along with the bright white of it's balcony really helps make the photograph pop, while the more muted colors (salmon...maybe...I'm not good at identifying color names past the primary colors) of the gallery helps to keep the photograph balanced.
