Taken in fall along the Tellico River in Monroe County, Tennessee, the color of the leaves in this photograph are amazing. The yellow, gold and reds are so bright that you just want to stand there and look, the sound of the water spilling over the spillway being the only sound. A few leaves are falling causing a colorful rain of leaves slowly drifting down everywhere. Autum in the mountains is such a wonderful time.
This section of the river is near the North Carolina/Tennessee state lines.
