The Cherohala Skyway along the Tennessee, North Carolina border is a wonderful drive any day, but catch a partly cloudy day in fall and the drive becomes unbelievable. This photograph, taken in early Autumn shows the start of the fall color, the wonderful clouds in the sky and the dark/light patches that the shadow of the clouds cause on the mountains below.
The Cherohala Skyway travels from Tellico Plains, TN to Robinsville, NC. This photograph was taken just across the state line in Graham County, North Carolina.
