This black and white photograph shows a colorful fall, mountain side in the Western North Carolina Mountains. The color of the mountain is shown in light and dark tones in this black and white photograph. A lone bright yellow tree is visible near the mountain's base in the lower left side of the photograph. This lone yellow tree has been left in color as it appeared in nature. The black and white with color allows the viewer to really see the yellow tree without the distraction of the colorful mountain.
