Located within the Cherokee National Forest, the 100' Bald River Falls is an extremely accessible waterfall, in fact Bald River Falls may be viewed from your car. The photo above was taken from the bridge which crosses over Bald River. Parking is available just past the bridge when traveling from Tellico Plains Tennessee. In addition to viewing Bald River Falls from the bridge, you may also climb down on the left or right side of the falls for a close-up view. A small trail is located along the left side of the falls which travels to the top of the falls.

Greg and Chrystal, Fantastic nature shot love the capture of the action of the water flying over the falls and the way you have frozen the white water rapids as they make there way over the falls before hitting the bottom of the river. Great details on each side of the falls and this photo has such great clarity to it. Excellent action shot, voted, google, tweet and FB promoted

Wondrous, the falls have a mythological aspect not unlike the mane of a white stallion floating over the rocks, or the hair of many nymphs ! voted and faved!

Very nice image. The waterfall is very dynamic and it flows perfectly through the image. v/f
