Description
Umbrellas stand ready for the lunch crowd in Helen, Georgia. Located in the North Georgia Mountains, Helen is often referred to Alpine Helen due to it's requirement that all buildings have an Alpine look. Even Helen's only fast food restaurant, Wendy's carries the town theme.

Beautiful and vibrant image! I love this square in Helen and eat there often. I've never seen it so empty! I love the expectancy this lends to the image.
Greg and Chrystal Mimbs replied:
Thank you Kelly. I wasn't easy to catch it without people....early enough for no one to be eating, late enough for everything to be opened.

Greg and Chrystal, Fantastic photo love the beautiful detailed architecture on the buildings that you have captured and in the foreground the gorgeous green grass under the beautiful wooden tables with their umbrellas opened up. Remarkable sky shot also, you have really managed to capture the clarity in this photo of this town in Georgia. I was to a similiar town in Snowmass, Colorado where everything had to be the same even the McDonalds had to be the same wood on the outside and colors they were only able to put up a small arch on the front about a foot tall. Excellent photo, voted, tweet, google and FB promoted
