This color photograph was taken at sunrise at Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island, Georgia. Once a living tree on Jekyll Island this driftwood holds on to it's spot on the beach. Although it's roots are deep, and for now it's place in the sand is secure, this driftwood is only a shadow of the tree it once was.
